ABOUT US

Charaka C. Cook is the CEO of The Cook Group LLC where the company’s mission is to “Bridge the Wealth Gap” through financial education and empowerment. She is a 2002 honor graduate from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Cognates in English, Public Relations, and Photography and she obtained her Masters Degree in Business Administration in 2015 from Southern Wesleyan University. Charaka worked in the private financial services industry with a focus in specific areas including mortgage lending, housing counseling, and insurance. Today she operates a full-service insurance agency and is the #1 Female Agency Manager in Final Expense with Senior Life Insurance Company.
